Sacha Deshmukh

Sacha Deshmukh is an expert in global geopolitics, international affairs, and crisis communications and reputation management.

Over the last two decades, Sacha Deshmukh has steered organisations amid turbulent international affairs and operating in the most sensitive political environments. 

He was a chief executive for over 20 years. His experience includes five years as the chief executive of Amnesty International, as well as serving as Chief Executive of UNICEF UK, Chief Executive of Smart Energy GB, Executive Director of the UK Parliamentary & Health Service Ombudsman, and nine years as Chief Executive of the global communications company MHP Group.

In addition to his executive roles, Sacha has been a Board Chair and non-executive director of several organisations. He was a non-executive director of the UK Fundraising Regulator for nine years, served on the Board of Consumer Focus (a UK government non-departmental public body), and for many years chaired the international NGO War Child and was the Vice Chair of Citizens Advice England & Wales.

In many of his roles, he has himself been a high profile public face, subject to considerable media, political, and social media scrutiny and is an experienced TV spokesperson.

Now, Sacha is an advisor to businesses and business leaders, as well as serving as a Non-Executive Director on boards. 

His experience allows him to advice on business strategy and risk analysis and mitigation, in particular for businesses operating across different geographies.  He also specialises in senior counsel in crisis situations in complex geopolitical environments, or affecting multiple international markets.
