Tim Reid (MCIPR)is a PR and crisis comms specialist and former journalist who spent nearly 20 years as a political correspondent for the BBC covering events at Westminster and further afield.

As a senior BBC News correspondent, Tim reported for all BBC TV and radio news programmes, including BBC Breakfast, the Ten o’ Clock News, the Today programme, BBC World Service, and BBC online. Before joining the BBC, he reported for various national tabloid and broadsheet publications, including The Sun and Daily Mirror. 

After leaving the BBC, Tim spent two years as Director of Communications for leading environmental law group, ClientEarth before founding a small PR and media training agency, which handles media relations and training for a range of global businesses in the environment and tech sectors. Tim uses his extensive experience as a broadcast journalist and communications professional to train senior leaders how to present themselves and their organisations to best effect and to excel under media scrutiny. As a crisis communications specialist, Tim uses his journalistic expertise to ensure that organisations are best placed to weather a media storm.
