Tom advises clients on complex regulatory and legislative developments, particularly in the energy and financial services sectors. He partners in-house teams to shape strategies to realise opportunities and manage risks in continuously shifting regulatory and legal landscapes. Before joining River Effra, he worked in both the European Parliament and UK House of Commons. As a public affairs consultant in Brussels, he counselled clients on addressing the implications of EU decarbonisation initiatives and how they should engage effectively in this disruptive context.
He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from King’s College London and The London School of Economics and Political Science respectively, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Law.
